I was given this advice before:

Connect a serial ‘null modem’ cable from your PC, via a USB to Serial adaptor if necessary, to the green RS232 to SpeakerLink adaptor (you can get from your dealer or from the audio images shop), or you can also use an AC12.

Connect the Cat5 cable (or any other Cat5 or SpeakerLink cable) from this Green adaptor into the Input SpeakerLink socket.

The recommended USB to Serial adaptor is a Keyspan USA-19HS.
