It was the evening Nixon stood up in front of the world and announced they were coming off the gold standard, they were going to print 10% extra money than was in circulation, which would devalue everyones money, but it was needed to stop an economic crisis like 1929.
That was half a century ago and we never went back again, we stayed on FIAT currency and every since then the banks have been printing money, which in itself would not be a problem, but they never pay it back in again, new mortgage, car loan, new phone finance, all printed from thin air and never paid back off the ledger.
The dollar in February 2020 nearly hit 1%, in other words 99% of it is nonsense money, printed out of thin air. Printed to get the banks out of trouble and it robs the people evey single day of their wealth through devaluation, or as we like to call it, inflation. We have even convinced people inflation is good.

Now it is good if it is kept at 0.5% or maybe 1%, because it is use it or lose it. But what we have seen since 1971, and more so since 2010 is criminal, it is a collapsing of the monetary system. Problem is, since then we have got Bitcoin. What is money? A sales ledger. Best sales ledger every devised? Bitcoin.

For the first time in history the central banks could lose control of the money, and if they lose control of the money they lose control....of everything.

The rush now to roll out Central Bank Digital currencies is frantic, but they need everyone to have a digital ID for that, and in the west we are not fans of big brother. So it is proving harder than they thought.

But, a collapse of the economy and a new monetary system is needed, they can't go back to gold as who has all the gold? And we can't have Russia and China becoming the wealthiest countries on the planet now can we.

But we have the house speakers telling the US people that "Due to Covid it will take generations to back back this debt of nearly $3 trillion." She doesn't mention the £33 trillion they have printed to buy time while they work out what to do!
I use the US as the numbers a bigger, but add all the EU countries up, UK, and even China and we have all racked up the credit cards. Printing 90% of all the money on the planet out of thin air between 2010 and 2020 and then turning off the taps meant we were always going to see inflation of 90% of more over the next couple of years or so.

Hence me saying, buckle up! grin

No Darling, I've had it months!
