Cheers Carlton.

Yeah tried that one as well. If everything I’d powered down, when powered back up the sub works, however, which ever speaker the sub is plugged into has no sound coming from it.

I think I will just have to admit defeat on this one.

I am running the sub analogue (actually a Rel as it is white and my wife prefers the looks! haha) from the headphone out set to variable and it works fine, but … it would be nice to get it all working properly.

I guess the next question is, if I were to buy a G68D, or similar, I take it the DSP3200s would be fine with that? But what about my Reviver? I have 180º din on it, isn’t comms from a G68 240º Din out?

Also, I have loved this little system watching TV with width set to 4. The way it fills the width of the room is pretty amazing. Not sure if I would want to lose that feature.

Was really hoping that you would get it sorted out. If it was not for your post, I probably would not have revisited the issue. As you said if there was some type of bug or issue it would have been revealed by M.

Yeah it is a shame. But hey ho, that's life.

Hmmm? You have more faith in M than I. grin

It is only because of the help of users on here, and dealers like Rick, that I trust sticking with M. I do wish Meridian would answer technical questions or look into issues that arise, but I fear those days are long gone.

Probably half the reason Meridian is so far from mainstream. Who would pay £75k for a pair of speakers when this kind of support/ legacy is in prospect?

Seriously, do you honestly think that someone spending that kind of money on new speakers would be left out in the cold?

This is obviously an isolated issue to a single legacy / SpeakerLink system as Carlton has worked through his troubles.

This is a Meridian fan site by the way.

Even Arri has dropped support for a few of their cameras. Asking a company to support equipment that is more than a few generations old or in combinations that they never intended is odd. If I spend 75k on a car how long is it supported?

Recently, my 10 year-old Mercedes (owned from new, but no longer in production) has undergone 2 separate product recalls - replacing driver airbag and updating the engine software - at no charge to myself.
