A subwoofer doesn't work on Master comms, only Slave comms, so AC200 to Subwoofer won't work.
The DSP3200 must be in the system so one can become a Master.

Can you describe precisely how you have then connected a SpeakerLink output from a DSP3200 to the AC12, and the cabling from AC12 to subwoofer?
Which sockets did you use on the AC12?

Regards,
Rick

Hi Rick,

The AC200 has Master and slave out, I have tried direct from both to the sub with no joy.
I then tried daisy chained from both the master and slave speaker, again with no joy.

The cable I made up was just cat to BNC and then when that didn't work to DIN.
I'm ignoring the audio side here, that works fine.

I then purchased this eBay item ...

This was used to connect legacy speakers to speakerlink by the seller.

The only thing I may not have tried with the convertor is going from the slave speaker using that, I will try when I get home.

Do you think a Reviver might do something these adapters don't?

The DSW User Guide has a diagram showing how to connect a subwoofer to an AC200.

I’m guessing the DSW has some features that the SW1600 is lacking, and it just won’t work with an AC200.

How does one go about setting a DSP3200 to be Master or Slave? Is it based on which of the SL outputs on the source device it is connected to or is there another way?

Are you running a daisy-chained (AC200 => DSP3200 => DSP3200) or home run (AC200 => DSP3200L plus AC200 => DSP3200R) setup?

The AC200 has to have a working DSP speaker connected to its Master out.
The Master speaker then creates Slave Comms which the Sub understands.

That Comms Interface IS a Reviver.
Try it from the speakerlink output of one of the DSP3200 into the Din Comms on the sub.

Make sure everything is connected up first, then turn it all on.

Rick, Do you have a suggestion on how to connect the following? I have only been able to get the DSP33 to work and not the subwoofer.

Assuming your DSP33 are working fine:

Use a Meridian 5S lead (180 degree Din Comms and RCA digital audio at each end)
Connect from your Slave DSP33 Out to the D1500 Input. Comms into either socket on D1500.
Channel Switch to 1&2

Make sure you wire it all up while turned off.
Then turn on the components.
Finally select a source and try it.

It works, it works, it works ... Rick you are the Man!

Not sure what all that I tried in the past, but it is obvious that I did not try your suggestions. I now have the following working.
Roon Streaming through MS200/AC200 combo connected to a a pair of legacy DSP33 through AC12 and an legacy DSW1500.
The DSW1500 connected from the output of the slave DSP33.

Mucho thanks!! (guess I can keep my O system signature in my profile).

Cheers Rick.

OK, as soon as I did that again, tried it dozens of times previously, and powered it all down this time, the sub now has comms and was working as expected ... but ...

The master speaker now no longer has sound.

The slave left speaker, plugged directly into the slave output of the AC200 still works fine, and the sub is acting as expected. But no right master channel playing.

If I plug the sub into the left SLAVE instead and power up, the sub also works but again, the left slave speaker has no output.
I tried a few different network cables too, just in case.

The cables, the Reviver, my own cable etc., the sub, does all work OK, but not with the AC200/3200 combo.

BTW I also tried plugging the sub direct into the "AC200 Slave OUT" and again no joy. I was thinking that I could run the sub direct and then the left slave as daisy chained off the right Master, but no such luck.

All very weird.

Sometimes the power up sequence is key. I would suggest power everything down. Power up in the following order. Sub, Slave, Master, Ac200.

Thanks, but I have tried it every which way. Haha

Even if I do get the sub being controlled, less the speaker it is daisy chained off, as soon as a put the AC200 into standby and then turn it back on again, there is no volume control on the sub again.

I know you mentioned that you have tried everything. Curious if you have tried this from the manual with the AC12/Reviver connected between the slave 3200 output and SL1600. Hope you can get it sorted like I was able to with my DSP33/DSW1500 setup.

To create a stand-alone Sooloos system
The DSP3200s can be connected directly to a Meridian Media Core 200 to make an ideal compact Sooloos system.
You can browse and control music on the system using the Sooloos application on an iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch, or the Control:PC/Control:Mac application on a computer.
• Connect the Network socket on the Media Core 200 to one of the LAN network connections on your Router, using a CAT5 cable.
• Make sure the WAN/Internet port on the Router is connected to the rest of your network, or to your Cable/DSL Modem.
• Connect the SpeakerLink output on the Media Core 200 to the master DSP3200 SpeakerLink input, using a Meridian SpeakerLink lead.
• Connect the SpeakerLink output from the master DSP3200 to the SpeakerLink input of the slave DSP3200, using a Meridian SpeakerLink lead.
For information on configuring your Media Core 200 please refer to the Media Core 200 User Guide.
