Yes. You need only make a Sooloos source in Mconfig and then enable the audio device in Roon.

Hi Bruce
Roon is not showing it i have just put Sooloos source in Mconfig but nothing the green light is flashing on the ID41 so i Don't know

Can i ask Bruce would a 818v3 give better sound , I know it has MQA but Overall sound

Do you have Meridian Device Manager or Sooloos configuration program to see if the ID41 is visible on the network or has updated Firmware?

Correctly configured, the 818 will give you full MQA into the DSP7200SE. Is the 818 visible in Roon?

Yes, for Music the 818v3 is better than an 861v8 in my opinion.

Have you re-booted the 861 since connecting ethernet cable to ID41?
I had to switch my 861 off at the mains and on again before my router issued it with a IP address which then let my network see the ID card and then it was visible in ROON.

It may be not the same, but my 218 can sometimes be difficult to see for Roon. Once it has it, it keeps it. Resetting the router normally cures it. It may work for the ID41 as well.
