Hi,

It would be useful if you could list your equipment in your "signature" (just as I have below) so we can see what other kit you have.
I can see from the photo that you have a L&R pair of 6000 speakers and a 5000 vertical centre, but can't see what the processor is.
I'm not sure what parts are available for the 586 DVD player as it's based on a Toshiba unit but you should probably be able to get the 598 repaired.
