I don't have a direct dial. I thought the issue was with mconnect but if they say they fixed it must be something wrong on the 210 end now?

Had a reply from mconnect. Washed their hands of it and saying Meridian are at fault.
Needs new firmware or another piece of Meridian equipment now useless

Meridian refuse to say anything regarding this at the moment.
It's in a "list"

Hi! I am having the same issue. Does anybody have an update regarding the 210 Streamer recognizing MQA over mConnect/Tidal Masters (HIFI plus) using uPnP?
By the way, I did two tests where MQA worked fine:
1. mConnect/Tidal Masters (HIFI plus) -> HiBy R3 over uPnP
2. Stream local MQA file from NAS Synology DS216play -> 210 Streamer
So, I also guess it should be fixed on streamer side (Meridian)...

I suggest trying UPnP alternatives - such as MusicLife, for example.

Thanks for the interesting idea.
I tried but since I just own a pair of DSP5200SE and the 210 Streamer, it doesn’t seem to work.
Tried the iOS and the android version of MusicLife…
Never thought it would be such a challenge.
For testing purposes, I tried the bluesound node, which worked fine (MQA) - but you need the remote control for the volume. Not so practical.
210 doesn’t support Tidal Connect either…
Any other ideas?

Yes, I have tried it, too. Works basically but no MQA support by definition…
Have also tried USB Audio Player Pro: MQA support but no UPnP support (yet)… same with HiBy Music Player…

Sadly, Meridian have neglected the 210 - especially on not upgrading it to Tidal Connect. Other than being a useful conduit for Roon it’s useless.
My unpalatable advice is to trade in the 210 for a 218. Then, buy the compatible Sonos Port. Connect this to the 218’s digital input to by-pass the Sonos Port’s internal DAC.
You will then have no problem whatsoever on streaming Tidal or Qobuz from your mobile device.

Thanks. I finally ended up keeping my 210 streamer (SpeakerLink to speakers - remote control over Meridian App) combined with a Bluesound Node N130 for streaming in MQA, connected directly to the DSP5200SE. Works fine - 210 streamer being the most expensive remote controller ever
