Also can’t remember if I mentioned it but I won mega bonus points by re-creating the actual night sky from the night of our wedding in the cinema star ceiling! What a great touch!!! Brilliant.

An amazing installation and thanks for including us along the way. Am I the only one who wants to flip the center in the family room? 🤔

So, Chris, now that it's up & running and you've presumably watched a few films in your amazing room which is better; the sound or the images?
Also, which TV do you have in the family room? Apologies if you've mentioned it before.
Cinema: Meridian 271, 3 x DSP640 (behind screen), 4 x DSP320 (in-ceiling), 4 x DSP3100 (surrounds), 2 x AC12 (interface). 2 x Perlisten D12s subs, Lyngdorf MP40 processor. DT 145" 2.35 AT screen. Sony VW870 projector & S-T lens, Lumagen Radiance Pro. Lounge: Roon, NUC, Kef LS50 Wireless + 2 x REL Gibraltar-2 subs

I have to say the sound - the picture is amazing but the sound just blows you away - have a big grin on my face listening to it.
The big TV is a Sony Pro. We are running a little trinnov (16 channel) in there.

Forgive me if I mentioned this before, but the sound in the cinema was always disappointing compared to the Meridian setup I had at home at the time. I can believe your system is undoubtably mind-blowing!

It's clearly hard to describe just how good it is but OMG - listening (for example) to Raiders of The Lost Ark (4K) soundtrack when the 'Indy' music come on - every single person just sat up and looked at each other - just amazing. Had the new Charlie's Angels (don't hate me) on Sunday - again epic soundtrack there too (just pumping tunes all the way through). I also listened to Peter Gabriel in concert on Sunday - video is appalling but oh the sound!
Probably the best show off scene is the new bond where he is in the church square getting shot at near the beginning - amazing again!

That sounds incredible. Or perhaps I should say 'your description of the audio sounds incredible'. Compared to most of the population our cinema room is amazing; compared to Chris's it's very much runt-of-the-litter stuff. Bravo! I'm sure it will give you & your family many years of blissful happiness.

Have to ask why?
As to why you would need to flip the centre channel?
