Hi All,

I just bought a 210 streamer to make my system a bit more accessible for non-audio visitors that use Spotify directly from their phones. Now I already have a 218 and I am using its SpeakerLink input for the 210.
However, if I use the 210 as Roon endpoint as well, is there a way to passthrough the Roon volume control trough the 218 so volume of the 210 using Roon still works?

I also route my 210 through my 218.

When using Roon, I typically choose the 210 in either the Meridian or Roon app as the source, and control the volume in either app via my iPad/iPhone or MSR.

I use the 218 as a preamp for my DSPs and the 210 as a streamer that feeds the 218. The 210 is my Roon endpoint but the 218 is also on the network. Bluetooth vis the 210 this way works really well, so should Spotify etc

I was planning on doing something similar, maybe even upgrade the PSU of the 210 as well. But I expected the 218 to take over the volume of the speakerlink input. Now I would loose my Roon embedded volume control when using the 210 as Roon endpoint. I guess I have to accept that.
PS: I am impressed by the SQ of the 210, I should upgrade the PSU just to compare with my 218, it might be better.

It does work now, it just needed a reset. Or, unlikely, the problem was between the chair and the screen. My 210 SL output connected to the SL input of the 218 controles volume of the DSPs connected to the 218. So using the 210 as an endpoint in roon, I can still use the volume control in Roon.
