I agree, a switch can make a difference with an 818. Right through from the AQVox to the SOtM and, now, my favoured weapon, the Innuos PhoenixNet.

It seems to make less of a difference with dCS equipment, though, as (as far as I can tell) it buffers the whole track in the first second or so of it playing.
