This is why I recommend (Chord’s) English Electric 8Switch (also available as 16Switch). I found that it made a substantive difference to my system.

While others here state that generic Cat5/6/7 cables are sufficient for Meridian inter-connectivity, I’ve always followed Edd’s (MrTechGuy) advice and utilised Meridian Cat7 custom cables - especially between my 8Switch, Roon Server and 210.
