Hi all

Just to say thank you to Caldham.

I picked up the rack this morning, after he had made me coffee, taken it apart and helped me load it into my car.

Regards Jon

Many Thanks to Rick at AudioImages. He gave me well above and beyond assistance with a product that has been out of warranty for a few years.

He handled the entire repair in the most generous and gentlemanly way imaginable (as he's handled every support issue I've asked his help with!).

This is particularly impressive in that I'm half way around the world from his store, and not at all a regular customer. Clearly, a dealer we customers can rely on.

Many thanks to K. Tsai. I purchased 3100s, Cherry 5Ks, Black 5KC, DSW1500. Since I live nearby, Ken allowed me to take them home to try them first, which made the whole buying experience completely stress free for me. I've been lucky so far with my speaker purchases, but I must say that these ones from Ken are absolutely the best condition speakers in my collection.

Summary: very positive.

re: swpnt

Steve has just serviced/uprated the power supply of my 800v2.

Splendid chap, with a shed of gear to die for! Great chat, loads of helpful advice. Definitely worth the awful M3 on the way back.

If you want your Meridian gear serviced/upgraded, Steve is your man!!!

Many thanks, Steve!

Purchased a pair of M6s from Duncs (OG) last night. Had a quick demo and chat. Speakers were in great condition with boxes and all original packaging materials.
- Thanks Duncan

Cheers
Tom

Another big thumbs up for Swpnt.

Ive had a pair of DSP5000's recapped. They are smiley face versions 2004 vintage. I use them daily and they sounded fine before the recap, but now they really sing!!

Swpnt / Steve is a great guy to deal with and he really knows his stuff.

I will be getting my other pair of DSP5000's recapped soon.

Hi

I’ve just had my DSP6000 re-capped by Steve (swpnt) and have been very happy with the whole experience

Steve is a pleasure to deal with, very reasonably priced and provides a service that has to be one of the most cost effective sonic upgrades available

I want to say a personal thank you for his efforts and he will be my first port of call in the future

Anyone looking for repair / service of their beloved kit should definitely get in touch with Steve

Many thanks Steve

Graham

swpnt

Just wanted to say what a pleasure it is deal with Steve (swpnt). Great service and a thoroughly knowledgeable and nice guy.

Last week he kindly re-capped my DSP 5ks...even going to the trouble of sorting out the rather tired grilles and updating the firmware. They now sound and look like new. He also had a go at my recently-purchased G68J, re-seating the digital output cards which had worked themselves loose, and fitting a new PSU (it turned out the old one was fifteen years old!). And he gave my D1500 a bit of TLC too, for good measure.

He fitted all that into his diary within 3 days of my contacting him and had everything turned round within a week. Kept me informed of progress at regular intervals, including photos along the way.

On top of that, everything very reasonably priced.

If you are within range of Woking, he's your man!

Nick

Yet another massive thumbs up for Steve (swpnt).

He has recently completed a recap and repair of my 557 and also breathed new life into my 508 CD player which was misbehaving. All the work done at a very competitive price, I couldn’t be happier.

I’ve now given him my other 557 for a recap and have lined up an aging Technics amp for his attention….he’s going to regret meeting me grin

What’s more, he’s a really decent, friendly and knowledgeable bloke. Highly recommended

Also various legacy 500 components - 557x2, 502, 508-20bit, 566-24bit plus too many other misc amps/speakers.
