Good evening, can someone advise on how to factory reset Meridian 210 streamer?

It’s all done via the Meridian control app as far as I know. What is the issue you have trouble with?

Hi, many thanks for taking the time to reply. No issues - yet🤔 Just purchased one second hand and was wondering would it need to be reset? Streaming is a brave new world for me, I'll come back if encounter any issues when I integrate it in my system.

The only issue I can think of is if it has been set to a fixed IP address and you don’t know it. I bought mine pre owned and had no issues with it. I use the 210 as a streamer with a 218 as a pre amp onto my DSPs and it sounds great.

Well all is not good. I can stream using hard wired ethernet using Spotify and Mconnect Lite,
Unfortunately the Meridian Control app when first plugged in, did not detect any devices in the Meridian co trol app. It picks up living room which I beleive is from the last owner,but has no otjer functions available ans no walk through menue regarding set up?
I can happily stream using ethernet, but after numerous on off attempts, do not appear to be able
to detect any devices through the Meridian app.
I suspect I may need to reset the 210 but with my memory I am l lucky I can remember which unit is the 210🤔😂
Hopefully someone can give me a *simple* explanation?

If I comes up in the app, click the arrow on the right in the top line. This will take you to the volume circle page (for want of a better name) Once here, click the three vertical dots in the top right corner, then you should see config in the middle at the left side.

Clearly a very poor design by an engineer assuming we speak his language. The app is pretty flaky and you may need to close it to get to it. Do you have Bluetooth on...

My experience is that occasionally the 210 will ‘forget’ its network address.

This is remedied by accessing your Router’s list of attached network devices.

Once identified, you can then enter the details within the Meridian app.

Don’t forget to ‘store’ the details once entered.

Terribe app, but good news is can stream using WiFi Spotify and tidal using the lite app. So I'm happy enough. I'll look in the rooter see what it says is connected.

The 210 performs at its optimum with an Ethernet connection - even if you have to use PowerLine adapters.
