The perfect complements for Meridian today is an HdFury Vertex2, and for source an AppleTV 4K (and a BR UHD of course, they have always LPCM).
The day when Apple (or other Box manufacturer) forgets LPCM possibility, Meridian will be totally out of the market for Home Theater.

The day when Apple (or other Box manufacturer) forgets LPCM possibility, Meridian will be totally out of the market for Home Theater. I agree, quite happy with my Vertex2 feeding my 4k TV and HD621. I do find that I often need to cycle power to the Meridian system to get the audio flowing correctly. But the visibility into what is going on with the Vertex2 is really good, as is the support of the community and manufacturer.

I hope / think this will not happen soon, that LPCM will be obsolete and no longer available on devices.
I think it will be here for a while to come, at least I hope so..
