I need some help to find out the differences of the DSP640 versions.
Refer to Duncans page there are:

1) DSP640 v2.1
2) DSP640 V2.2
3) DSP640 V2.5

For all three versions from each datasheet
Dimensions and visible grill are the same

Mid-high - chassis: 2x 85mm wide-range
Amplification: 1x 100W Class AB amplifier per wide-range driver

Bass-chassis: 2x 140mm bass
Amplification: 1x 150W Class D amplifier per bass drive

4) DSP640.2
Mid-high - chassis: 2x Wide-range drivers (each): • 2 x 85mm with neodymium magnets
Amplification: 2 x Class D amplifiers bridged for 100W into 8 Ohms•

Bass - chassis: 2x Bass drivers (each): • 2 x 140mm long-throw design
Amplification: 2 x Class D amplifiers bridged for 100W into 8 Ohms

**** Audio enhancement technologies built in include Enhanced Bass Alignment (EBA), FIFO buffering, DSP upsampling, apodising filters, Meridian CentreEelevation and Meridian High Resolution (MHR)
Powered by Meridian’s exclusive ‘CLASS-M’ DSP engine and integrated with ‘DYNAMIC’ Hi-Res amplifiers.
The DSP640.2 uses a new octo-amp design with a bridged pair of amplifiers for each of the four drive-units.

Questions:
A) For the non .2 versions-what are the differences ?
B) What are the current sw for all the versions ?
C) What are the practical usage and sound differences ?
D) **** So that means that the non.2 versions have no EBA
E) A serial number in the 2005xx range - which version is that ?

Any info is welcome-
Thanks
Robert
