Delaying all frequencies is easy. smile

The "problem" is *progressive* group delay in the lower bass frequencies, especially in ported speakers (there's no escaping the physics). In the bass drivers, EBA corrects this by applying variable delay to less affected frequencies, to bring every frequency produced by the same driver(s) to the same group delay value. Non-bass drivers *do* have a constant group delay applied to bring them in line with the corrected bass drivers.

I have found the opposite. I removed the trigger cable between g65 and master speaker and I got all my speakers working.

If I am streaming 210 direct into dsp5200se and it is not an mqa track am I better of using the digital out on the 210 (in the MHR output setting) to feed back into the G65 so that I can get the effects of EBA which are missing otherwise?

But to then get the 210 to pass the g65 signal the 210 would have to switch from Internal? To SL through setting which will then stop the music? Confused

EBA is done in the speaker. You can either turn it on or off via SpeakerLink from the processor, 210, 218 etc. Or in the speaker config. In the G65 presets you can have the EBA set on or off per each preset.

Hi

What l have done and it works is to connect the 210 to the 5200SE master SpeakerLink.
The master connected to the front slave,

The G65 is connected master out to MMHR in on 210. This then allows full use of the G65 for all other inputs.

I do need to have the G65 on when playing 210 / MQA which might be a configuration issue

Otherwise MQA front 2 speakers, 5.1 for everything else ie Sky Q, Oppo, ...

Best
Colin

Hi,

I think you mean SL in on the 210 (rather than MMHR), and since the comms are connected by that same connection, you'll have the G65 on when you're just using the Net input on the 210. Turning off either component (210 or G65) will turn off the other component as they are both on the same comms chain.

Following on from the previous discussions, you can set EBA to be 'on' for that particular input when playing MQA, but it's still not fully clear if you require some adjustment to the delay times on the front speakers when using the G65 for surround sound.

Hi

Yes senior moment.SL.

As far as delay l am in a 22 x 15 foot lounge and not aware of a delay issue, whether that is down to not being too far away from each speaker and sound levels from each being adjusted to same l don’t know

Best 🤔
