My conclusion in comparing streamed (Qobuz,Tidal) vs CD Player 800D was that most of the time the Qobuz streams sound more relaxed through the ID40. But in the end the quality of the recording in which I believe the Mastering Engineer has a lot to do with determines the final outcome. Needles to say I sold both of my 800 series players.
