Ok, I have got to the bottom of things...

The 210 is on the network and the Roon output is set to SpeakerLink outputting to the 218. This is, after configuration,not on the network. The 218 connects to my DSPs via SpeakerLink.

I now have MQA and upsampling for other inputs.

I would have thought the 210 upsampled also but, unless I have missed a trick (it happens) it does not. A great omission.

Don’t forget to press clear to set controllers.

Should this be sounding better than the 218 on its own? I’m sure it does but that could be just me. Gregory Porter Take me to the alley in MQA via Roon is astonishing.
