While I am an older dude, and I usually listen to TIDAL and listen to full albums, listening to the CD's I do the same. I don't pick tracks and listen very often. The 598 really sounds good--exceeds my Sony and on par with my Naim Unity Core which rips and stores. I think it resamples, but not sure.
