The 598 DC came today. Very nice shape and very well packaged. Amazing unit. Its a little old school, ie you don't need a computer to hook it up. I basically dug out an unused digital coax, plugged that into the 598 and then into the DVD coax input on the Ultra DAC. I plugged in the power, turned the switch in back on, and things lit up. Put a disk in, and Wah lah, sound. It used to be so easy. The sound is excellent. Unit was cold and as the afternoon proceeded, it warmed up and the sound got better and better. I am very pleased. Thanks for the support on this forum.
