Simon, if the Disc is a SACD or DVD Audio multichannel, you could probably rip it into 5.1/7.1 PCM or DSF format and stream it via HDMI into your 861v8 with Roon and an endpoint like a Vero 4k+.
I have about 59 albums ripped and tagged with multichannel audio.
