Check to see if Bruce (CMB Integrations) or Marc Koval can install a Linear Power Supply
instead. Marc Koval put one in my G61R several years ago.

Meridian never did Service manuals for these.
What do you need? Each card has its own circuit diagram (we have these).

Hello guys!
I have another issue with my G61R.
After I changed PSU and replaced original capacitors on the power board G61R worked fine for some months.
Now it may work in 2 ways:
1. boot with Meridian logo for eternity
2. boot well and play well but after several minutes it starts clicking and display starts turning on/off
Yesterday I managed to play music all day long without any issue but today it plays only for 5 minutes before starts clicking.
Please please please give me any advice !!!

I have G68SL that started clicking and resetting itself, it came with the linear power supply upgrade. I opened it up to check the power supply and everything seemed okay; I’m pretty sure the power supply swap involves moving pins around in the power supply plug, on further inspection, this process was done poorly and the receptacles inside the plug were deformed and didn’t make very good contact. Great advice from Syles. I repair electronics as a hobby and you would be amazed at how often problems (not only intermittent ones) turn out to be poor contacts of one kind or another.
