You can see My profile for the equipment I am using. The IP Control is the latest one for an iPhone 8 and when I run the Device Manager to look for devices, it can not find the 218. It keeps saying searching for devices but never find any.
Also I bought a subscription to Roon and installed ROCK, Roon can not see the Meridian 218 either.
Thanks!

It is really the network details that are required. Eg whether you are just using an ISP provided hub vs a separate unmanaged switch etc. First task is to ensure that IP multicasting is traversing your network.
Try power cycling all network equipment In the first instance.

Is the 218 hard-wired to your router using an ethernet cable?

Yes. The 218 is connected to the wifi router with an Ethernet cable

The Meridian IP Control is the app from Meridian that serves as a graphical remote for the Meridian IP Controllable device. The app connects to the WiFi network and locates all compatible devices. Ñ

Sounds like a network issue if IP Control and Roon are failing to find the 218. I'd check that your router is allowing multicast traffic to pass through.

I'm sure you've done this already but I'd turn off everything on the network, and reboot the router and modem. Everything's set to DCHP , right?

If you remember the IP address of the device, you can try logging in directly to the web interface on the device. If you do not remember the IP address, you can guess. For example, if you have a network with a 192.168.1.1 gateway address, you can try logging in from your browser, with addresses starting at 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.255. If you use DHCP, the address of your devices, it is probably at the beginning of the series.
