Does anybody know how a DSW will work in combination with a pair of DSP7200SE? I have a 218 and would be interested in the "wide" setting, as I think the 80Hz cross over underutilize the 4x200mm drivers of the DSP7200's. The wide setting leaves the bass output of the DSP7200 untouched, but where will the DSW then come in? Is it save to assume that it will then use the 120Hz cross over of the DSW? This is rather high. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Wide sends all frequencies to the sub which in most cases is not desirable. Sub 1 sets the crossover to 80Hz and Sub 2 to 120.
There are also Music and Movie settings that set bass appropriately for each setting but there is no explanation of exactly what that does. This is why I really wish the manuals were written in a cause and effect format, if you choose X setting the the following is the result.
Sub gain will allow you to get the blend to your liking. Luckily with SpeakerLink controls all of the audio settings can be done on the fly.

If you want to use anything but the Sub 1/Sub 2 (80/120Hz) settings in a Meridian DSP system, you'll need a multichannel processor, not a 2-channel endpoint. The processor itself then handles the crossover frequency before it's sent to the mains/sub. The Sub 1/Sub 2 settings are in the speakers themselves and can't be adjusted up or down in frequency, so it's not worth worrying about them above and beyond making sure they're on.
