Apologies Bruce for the delay. I enjoyed my visit with Bruce and am happy to give those 24/96 DSP6000s a new home. The DSP8000SEs are incredible speakers!
As much as I would like to have a pair of 8000SEs someday, I am very fortunate to have 6000s which still amaze me given their age.

I had my legacy DSP5000C serviced by Steve (SWPNT) earlier today.
As usual Steve was welcoming and accommodating; I left the speaker box in his drive and then sat in my car whilst he efficiently changed key caps and resistors in his office. Less than an 1hr and all done!
Steve had also kindly taken delivery of some DSP33s from a seller of mine. On delivery Steve powered up and gave them the once over so I could complete the transaction without any concern.
As always, Steve is super to deal with and brilliant at bringing kit back to full health at a very reasonable price.

Hi Everyone
I’ve just had my DSP7000 & DSP5500HC upgraded/re-capped by Steve (swpnt) and I have been completely blown away with every aspect of this upgrade!
Not only is Steve a pleasure to deal with and very reasonably priced but the sonic upgrades is astonishing!
I wanted to write this post as a personal thanks to Steve and his efforts on lifting my system to the next stage!
Anyone looking for an upgrade should definitely look at this path as it will transform your system to the next level!

The 800 arrive safe and sound and exactly as described...It now has pride of place atop my 861.
Steve is a helpful, knowledgeable chap and rest assured I will be using his recapping services in the very near future! and hopefully be buying more gear of him as the upgrade bug takes hold again!!!!
