I half-explored this a few years ago when I considered getting 6Ks refurbished in white. I never came to a conclusion as to how hard it would be, though, as I decided to go with 7200s instead.

You're completely right, though - the front is often the most visible bit, getting that in the colour of choice should at least be an option.

Is the glass itself coloured, or is it just a form of coating which a glazing specialist could remove/apply in different colours?
