It’s a matter of how you have the External DAC MQA button selected. Player>Audio Settings>External DAC MQA. One setting will pass the MQA bitstream. The other will direct the Node to perform the first unfold and output 96/24 (The latter is how I use it with my non MQA legacy 96/24 DSP’s). The setting to pass the MQA bitstream will automatically turn off both the tone controls and variable digital outputs
