Hi Guys,

Looking for a cheap remote solution to control the volume on a DSP5200 centre. It's being used with a TV and isn't connected to any other M gear just want IR.

Any help appreciated.

If you set the speaker to be a Master and a Controller won't your MSR or MSR+ just control the volume?

Won't that just be giving you either the left or the right channel alone? That may be workable for you, but if you want a full mono signal to get both channels combined, you'd need an M processor to take the stereo out put from the TV and reduce it to mono for the single DSP.

As Longitude mentioned, an MSR could be used if the speaker is set up as described.

Thanks guys, think I've managed to sort it.

I've disposed of all my M gear bar this speaker, so no longer have an MSR.

Managed to get the Pronto edit software to load on Win10 and it looks like I can use an old TSU9400 for this.
