I retired mine years ago and replaced it with several (single 8TB drive) WD My Passport units: one is directly attached to my NUC and this is backed up to the other two whenever I add some more local music (not often). The moment I get an Internet connection with a decent upload speed, I am seriously considering putting my music in the Cloud and streaming it from there.
