I understand why some might feel let down by Meridian, but this isn't Edd's fault. He is demonstrably trying to help us by supporting this site and I think the vast majority of us appreciate that the site is here.

[As an aside, I would say that he tried to give Meridian some time to publish an official response and they might have helped him by giving him enough notice to post their official response here before it filtered out]
