I fear you are correct. This may indeed be the end of Sooloos.
I will not be happy about this if true. I have invested a lot of $$$$ in Meridian/Sooloos like many.
For Meridian to just cut and run rather then support Sooloos for at least 3 - 5 years or so will leave a bad taste.

Why would anyone purchase [u any[/u] Meridian product that needs software to function?
"Sorry, the warranty has expired, your on your own".

Think about all the folks that purchased an MC200, C15 or MD600 just before they announced they are no longer supporting Sooloos.
I fear this is a company in trouble.
