I hope this is explainable..... would post a video if I knew how - don't even know if possible on here.,,

One 8kSE (Master) has randomly started flickering on the display.

Occasional and definitely random.

No notable sound change.

Occasional left yellow (clipping) light but on volume of 30.

Main screen where it says SLS and 31 for example, occasional flickers of that. Additional display LED's lighting up. All text still fully readable.

Nothing on any other DSP, not even the right 8k.

Anyone seen this before?

My 5200.2 master (vertical) does the same thing, always has. When I used the 5200.2HC as master, it didn’t do it.

To me it would appear to be a software issue as it is split seconds of random characters, not simply display flickering.

Cheers,
Jason.

Lounge: DSP5200SL (L-R), DSW, 218, Michell Tecnodec, G98DH, tape deck.

Shed: DSP3100HC mains with twin analogue subs, 568, MS200. This sounds waay better than it should.

Storage: Way too much Meridian stuff, but I'm culling.

I had something similar though in my case the display showed random characters. Rick diagnosed this as a side effect of using power line Ethernet adapters and suggested plugging the speaker into a different socket if possible. Sounds mad (particularly as the adapter was in another room though physically close on the opposite side of a partition wall) but it worked and I haven’t had the problem since.
