You'r right, movies/streaming services on the Apple TV does not transport un-compressed video or audio and I understand why when it comes to bitrate
Anyway, some 4k movies from Apple Movies are really good when it comes to video and audio quality, but not all of them is my experience from the last year.
A Bluray disc movie with un-compressed video and audio is still the best I would say if you really like watching movies like me.
Using Pioneer UDP-LX500 as transport for movies at the moment to my Sony AF9 OLED TV, stunning picture quality and can't compare it with Apple TV 4k
Edit: SACD playback (LPCM conversion) to the HD621 on this Pioneer player is working flawlessy and so the audio quality
