Oh and a 25% increase in price

Larger coned (although still a 12" chassis), longer throw, bass unit.
I've just noticed it has different 'feet' too.

I thought I recalled threads about problems integrating the old DSW with EBA. A quick google of the site reveals I was wrong.

Hi Chris, From FAQ No 8 on the DSW.2 Product Support Page on Meridian Website "Music mode extends the bass response of the DSW down to 10Hz and provides a superior transient response, i.e. it sounds “faster”.
Conversely, Movie mode produces a higher level of bass output, but the response is limited to 30Hz.
This makes it more appropriate for use with the bass content usually present in movie soundtracks." Rick

The frequency response for the modes is interesting. I've been recommended to add 2x DSW to a lounge cinema system of D8k fronts and M6 rears with 320 ceiling speakers and I'm wondering about the impact these will have as the D8ks probably cover the bass frequencies well.
Anybody hhve experience of the DSW with D8ks?
I know the DSW probably isn't the greatest sub out there at the moment but the ease of integration and the looks means my choice is DSW or nothing I think.
