With a cpuple of DIN to BNC comms adapters which I have all the time, you could continue with daisy chaining or use a patch box. Wire length in this case is not a detriment. Feel free to contact me offline if you wish to discuss in more detail.

Ships are passing in the night. ODC, thanks for pitching in. As I read Bruce's first reply, he had G61 BNC out to center BNC in, and center BNC out to first 7200 which is also getting SL from 218 if that is present. Your last post here, you had center getting BNC from G61 and BNC comm return back to G61. Sounded good to me -but center only has one BNC comm out, which is already occupied by connection to first 7200. So it seems to me that comm daisy chain has to go from second 7200 to some other speaker to continue the chain.

I made the assumptions that you would have a 218 and that the left front speaker would become Master, not the center (how my setup is arranged today). Now you can do comms return from the center.

I still don’t understand how to toggle SL vs. D2, but if if works like my 568.2mm/smileys system does where I currently switch between D1 and D2 speaker inputs using MSR, you would need left or right to be Master to go back & forth with the 218.

Its defined for the source on the speaker. So some sources are configured to use D1 and others are configured to use D2, but a source cannot be configured to use either D1 or D2.

ODC, my mistake to mix 2 systems into thread- a bird-in-hand multichannel system and a future system when 218 becomes reality here. I realized going in that left DSP7200SE would have to be master, not center with 218. Ian clarifies the MSR toggle method, makes sense for choice of input to be source-specific. This whole discussion has been valuable to me and provides simpler integration method than older threads that seemed to require G61R to pass through the 218. Thanks to you too
