Maybe he needs to check his email. I received mine this morning. I can't help but feel like you are trying to point out that I am wrong as this is the second time that you have done this. Do I need to supply proof?

Posting such information would be helpful, as far too many false dawns have been heralded by Meridian on this specific model.
I’ve had one of these on back order since January, 2019, when, supposedly, each UK PP had been allocated 10 of them for initial start of sales of the product that month. That’s why I’m so sceptical about the latest claimed release date.

I think e-ARC is more interesting for the majority. Most zones out there have a TV close by or used for TV sound. A MS210 with e-ARC connected to a TV with 2 DSP speakers would be a sweet zone for everything digital.
Or, update the F80 design with MS210 specifications and e-ARC. Seamless and lovable for a long time!
I discussed this with my partner and she would not hesitate to upgrade our F80 to an e-ARC and MS210 capable well let's call it the F-800! It could even have a removable Li-On battery for 10h operation for that outside tented party where people could stream their music etc.

Nice to see you are so excited at the prospect of an ‘F800’ but once you had purchased one I am not sure who else would want one? I really don’t believe there is the demand. I have an F80 M80 and I have found the quality of manufacture quite poor, the CD slot cover broke and fell off, the display went dim on some lines and other failed totally making it barely legible. Nice design though.
No movable parts and no organic based displays would solve those issues quickly. No physical media. I'd rather have this discussion in the correct thread though, sorry for that.

My F80 purchased in 2008/09 is still going strong with no damage to the display . Sadly my M80 purchased in 2012 has a display missing a few lines and a physical volume button that no longer seems to control the volume properly . A steaming mqa version of an f80 would be great

I have a Bluesound Pulse 2 and apart from the looks, this is the type of product the F80 should have evolved into. Roon ready, Bluetooth, optical in for TV and even can do Alexa if I could be bothered. Most of all, it sounds amazing for its size. There is no display to go dim and fail 😂 My F80 has cost me a lot in repairs, and so I would be too scared to buy another one, but at least it’s getting bedroom use now, display off most of the time.
