It was me who bought the G95, a bit risky I know, but I paid £500 for it which I thought was a great buy, particularly as it's the DAB version, with MSR and original box & packaging and in superb condition etc. Plus the seller was excellent to deal with & has a 100% Positive Feedback record, so hopefully it will serve me well for several years as part of a third, but analogue M system, mainly for DVD in a 2.1 configuration and radio.

If I've bought "an expensive brick", I'll let you know!

Regards
Stephen

Hi,

Yes you are a dino.

Stuff is so far advanced out there, Meridian’s can not replay to that.

Look at NativSound this is Sooloos as it should have been!

Hi Andreas

Not entirely sure if you're calling me a dino or mean a dinosaur, but if it's a "dino", I'll take it as a compliment, as quite a few years ago, I owned a Ferrari Dino 246 and it's one of the best cars I've owned or driven, but if you mean "dinosaur", I am getting on a bit and maybe you're right!

Either way, for the £500 I paid and in the context of being a third system for occasional use, the G95 is doing an excellent job with DVDs, FM & DAB radio and music CDs, but as I said, time will tell, albeit I've owned Meridian kit since the late 70's (101,103,104) then 200, 500, 600, G, 800 series and M2s, M30s, M20s and various DSP speakers.

The only problem I've ever had, was a faulty left channel on a 557 amp, which I took up to Meridian and they fixed it while I waited - ah, the good old days!

Best wishes
Stephen
