Why is there no forbar plugin for streaming media service for Sooloos?
When I used Roon to listen to music, I was only happy for a few days. There are many functions. I just tried. But for the next few days I didn't want to turn on the computer at all. Roon's voice obviously doesn't appeal to me. I'd rather use Sooloos playback software.
I hope Sooloos can have Foobar streaming media service, with this function, Sooloos products can attract more users. My family also has Linn Klimax DS, compared with Meridian, I like Meridian better.
But the Sooloos settings and software stability are so bad, that I have to give up and turn to Linn.
Sooloos development has been frozen. There will be no more features added.

For the (excellent) equipment you have, I would seriously look at Roon again. As a former Sooloos user, I can say Roon sounds just as good and performs as well, and the handling of classical and compilation albums is much better than Sooloos ever was.
Yes, I have use Roon with Linn Klimax. but the Linn software (Linn Kazoo ) it very good ... I don't need Roon.
Roon doesn't attract users' voices like Mark, Halcro, dCS, Jeff Rowland, Meridian，these manufacturers all have their own features, attractive voices. When you use Roon, it changes the sound set by the original manufacturer, which is an important issue.
Obviously, Roon only has high resolution and high quality voice and many functions. Besides these are not what I want, there is no reason for me to continue using them. They are good at data processing, but they still need to work hard to express music.
For the plug-in Meridian can use other software companies to do and development it because its own development, will lost high cost money and time.
If you can hear a difference then go with it, one thing to check in Roon, was the DSP disabled as there are settings which if set could change the sound, click on the volume icon at the bottom right of the play screen, select DSP and then check everything is set to disabled.
