This has been the case for quite a while now on all 800 series - buttons and flap are now available only in black, it’s solely the front 'wings' and rear casework which can be coloured.

Even silver and graphite have gone from the buttons. Very annoying for anyone who wants to match in with previous Meridian gear or a truly custom finish (or who doesn't like the black finish, like me).
