So what are you hoping it is, my understanding was it’s a way of connecting your phone/tablet via Bluetooth and Airplay2 to DSPs along with streaming Spotify.

That is my expectation, plus the USB input, but until the full details are made known it's just vapourware.

Does allocated suggest that they have been shipped to the PP or that he has them on backorder?

It means that in January Meridian will send (allocate) 10 x 210’s to my PP.

Update: It will include Wired, Wi Fi, Bluetooth, Spotify, Airplay, UPnP, Roon, USB IN, SL IN/OUT, Dig Out, MQA.

Happy Christmas,

The Shipping Forecast never sounded so good.

What does this offer above a Raspberry Pi with a decent HAT?

SpeakerLink?

This isn't a Sooloos endpoint then? Or is Sooloos now dead?

Sorry, if those are silly questions, I moved to a Raspberry Pi after waiting for so long for this and only just looked back in.

Not knowing it’s full potential prior to release, amongst my expectations are...

Ability to remotely stream Amarra Luxe/Play (MQA) content from my Mac Mini to the 210.
Directly connect my SBT to the 210 via USB.
Directly connect a NUC/Rock to the 210 via USB
Or, just maybe, being able to directly connect an external SSD drive to the USB for streaming music.
Directly connect Innous Zen to the 210 USB input.

laugh Good to see that it's likely to have good wireless reception and an infinite number of channels to choose from.

It is a shame that the pairing button is on the back panel. Hope they change that in the final production version. Not a problem for Airplay but Bluetooth users may take issue with it.
