A new MSR2 remote will be coming with new products that include an IR remote such as 8XX, Ultra DAC, 8000,7200, 5200, G65 etc. If you need one separately they will be $200.00 US MSRP. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.meridianunplugged.com/ubbthreads/gallery/16/full/3014.jpg)

Any photos yet? Does it have any additional functionality over the MSR+? EDIT: Just found this ... MSR2 it's a slim hand held device rather than a table top. Regards, Carl

I notice a button marked Net... Couldn’t they say Sooloos in?
No 18 in the Hall of fame I have simple tastes; I am content to settle for the best: GIK monster bass panels, rear wall. QNAP TVS 471i3. Roon into DSP5200SE via 210/ 218 zone... Explorer 2. Bluesound Pulse 2, Mini & Flex. 596v1, 518, Foxsat HD, Sony BDP, Pioneer 5090, 2 Chromecast's for LRB videos. MS200 to F80 for a Roon zone

I think I prefer my table top design at least I can still customise the buttons curing the “net” button 😉

I kind of like the idea of the wand style remote. Maybe no high pitched whine from the backlight on this one.

Hi Bruce
Are the buttons on this backlit? Great if they are, although the photo makes it look unlikely. Is the "star" button relevant here?
Cheers

I have seen no further info on it other than what has been published so far.

* Applies to systems supporting Sooloos or Roon and systems featuring the Meridian 210 Streamer. I hope this means support RAAT, I'd love new kit and product updates to support RAAT ... let's see. Regards, Carl

I quite like a wand-style remote. Nothing against the old MSR/+, but it does take up a lot of table real-estate.
Are those the final button labels though? Do they have custom buttons/different options available? The latter would make sense given that the more modern equipment can support custom labelling over SpeakerLink.
