It’s Roon Ready and it’s not a DAC. Those are pretty fundamental differences.

Well, but the air interface is same. Fancier after that but limited by what goes over the air unless it has WiFi and runs Roon/RAAT over WiFi?
But then you need to use Roon.
Or?

The reply I had from Meridian, this week... The 210 is expected to be released soon. I cannot give you further detail at this time. I would recommend you register your interest with a Meridian dealer who will update you when their stock is on the way.

I'm expecting it to be £800 inc VAT, but this has yet to be confirmed.

My chosen PP has been allocated 10 of them.
I’ve reserved a 210, dependant on first learning of its complete functionality.
