GParrington, do you have a second non-LG TV to see if you get any "pink" handshakes on that as well?

The cure you list, disconnect the LG-TV does sound interesting. But could it be specific to a model or generation of HDMI input boards on LG TV's that would need a second handshake sometimes(?) Can you go into the About menu on the LG-TV and check for Firmware updates?
