Try Gordon Fraser @ Convergent AV. He's also the UK's Lumagen dealer.

Hi Russ

It was Gordon (as noted above). He was in the neighbourhood doing my mate’s screen. I can’t remember what I paid. Guessing it was a couple of hundred but IMHO worth every penny.

ncpl,

I can answer that for the QLED but for the OLED I get lip sync drift where it starts off ok then looses sync then returns to normal... this happens when taking optical from the OLED not so when optical direct from sky to processor.

That's about it for me, OLED and Sky play fine otherwise.

Could you post a link to the topic please.

I have the last generation Kuro KRP 500A and upgraded to the top of the range panasonic EZ1000 65 inch OLED 6 months ago.

The Kuro remains fantastic even though I never calibrated it, especially in the pure mode setting with all the processing switched off.

I only upgraded because I wanted the bigger screen.

The panasonic OLED is a step up, especially for resolution and I guess deeper blacks but what really stands out is the natural colours it outputs. the natural look of the output is comparable to the Kuro.

I guess it just goes to show how great the Kuros were!

I calibrated the life out of my 500M, plus tweaked it for better black levels too, it was pretty special, but even my first 1080p OLED was better.

I have a B6 now and absolutely no intention of upgrading unless something truly special comes out in the future.

No Darling, I've had it months!
