Does the G68/G98 handle RGB signals over Component? My cable decoder just have the selection of composite and RGB (SCART) output, so of course I will use RGB. If the G series is incompatible I would need to use a SCART cable between the decoder and my plasma TV, if not I could benefit from the G68 video switcher and G98 scaler and eventually output it as a real component signal to my plasma (it has one component in, a couple of RGB and S-video's...)
I don't see anything about RGB-Component conversion, though. I guess for the G68 it doesn't matter much, the switcher has enough bandwidth anyway and I would "just" have to buy RGB->RGB/component cables. The G98 however, of course needs to be able to convert between the signals...

A box from JS Technologies will convert RGB to component for you if your set-up doesn't. For the modest sum of 150 quid IIRC. I use this from my NTL digital box to processor.

You can get a RGB to component converter from keene.com for around 70. This is Meridian recommended as well, so I would go for this. However, it does mean you have to use two sets of cables. A scart to the converter and then a set of components to the Meridian.

Thanks for your replies, I think I will get a CYP CSY-2100 RGBs-->YPbPr converter then. They are 90 here in Sweden, and their products have a good reputation. I just thought that that would be a thing the G68/G98 both ought to be able to handle. It's not rocket-science compared to a lot of other things the Meridians do.
