Hello everyone,
I've decided I'd like to sell my G68J and G55.
The reason for selling is that we moved house in 2013 and the new place just didn't lend itself to multiple speakers and cables so these have just been providing stereo duties since then.
I'm in the process of simplifying and tidying so these just need to go.
I bought them new in 2007 and I have all boxes, manuals and the remote, that's never been used, all in excellent condition.
The bit of bad news is that there is a low buzz that comes from the rear left channel that can be heard when nothing is playing. Before we moved I spoke with Rick at Audio Images (via PMs on here) around getting it sorted and he felt a service would cure it. Once we moved and given the comment above it just wasn't a priority so I didn't pursue it. I just checked and the buzz is still there so it hasn't cured itself... It's the rear left channel on the G68 that's the issue, I've done all the testing, cabling swapping etc to determine this.
I'd prefer collection so anyone can satisfy themselves but will post at cost if that's the way anyone would prefer.
Not really sure on pricing but would this seem fair:
G68J - £450
G55 - £1000
I'll add pictures once I work out how...

Agreed, to save duplication and not turning the Restaurant into a support area ... I have split out the "support" posts to this topic: G68J low buzz that comes from the rear left channel. Regards, Carl

G55 sold pending the usual.....

Hi Martin,
If you still have the G68 available I would be interested. I'm in the process of (very slowly!) going to a full surround setup so the buzz isn't an issue for me at the moment and I could stick it in for service later as I get closer to getting the rear speakers.
