I had it when I was selling some Quad Z3 speakers recently, someone insisted on coming on the Sunday when I had already explained I was busy, but thought a sale is a sale, so stayed at home which didn't go down well with the missus (a family do) and then when he finished listening to them offered me a grand for them.

This was for a pair of 3 week old speakers that were £2500 that I had said £1500 (advertised at £1700) with no offers.

He then said "Oh well, at least I got to hear them properly, I will now have to go and find someone that will do them for me in budget."



You have got some cracking kit up for sale mate. I guess I was just surprised it hasn't been snapped up yet.
