I saw a trailer for this and it looked great! Just need to find a time I can stop to watch it πŸ‘πŸ»

Great thread! Interesting to find out what others are enjoying 😊

Amazon has been Grand Tour for me recently.. I know Clarkson is possibly not everyone's cup of tea but the series was great IMHO

Amazon music through the Amazon Fire stick has been good as well πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

Netflix I like the documentaries. Space, the moon, I watched a program on the pyramids recently, anything like that! I'd also recommend Sons of Anarchy (we watched it on SKY but I'm sure it's on there)

Kind regards
David

Guilty certainly but except "The Revenant", "The Martian" and "A Most Violent Year", I have not watched a decent film in ages.

Mrs G. and I have a rule that after 10 minutes of watching a film we stop and unless we both think its good we stop.

We watched the first 5 GT but havent bothered since. The first one was a good return, but it all got a bit the same after that and its lost its appeal - only so many times that killing off a celebrity is funny even when one of them is Carol Vordamen . Plus a couple of subject matters got a bit risky for family viewing - and it wasnt any more funny for it - more cringe making on occasion.

I started off watching Scooby Doo originals, the ones from my childhood before they spoiled it with Scrappy Doo.

I dont know how Amazon looks on the Fire box but its a pretty poor implementation on our Sony TV. Makes searching for things, and revisiting follow on episodes like GT a bit of a pain. The NowTV box is our goto device now - some of the deals you get almost make it worthwhile buying a new device to get a deal on a pass.

Not on Amazon, but we are enjoying our Now TV Entertainment passes that we got with our two boxes. We are currently revisiting every episode of Lost to see if we understand it a bit better this time round. Much easier to follow when you dont have best part of a year between seasons.

I have a Fire box. Not impressed with the picture, it gets very obvious artifacts particularly on the starting black splash screen. Also occasional audio dropouts, even though it's running on wired internet rather than WiFi.

Sooloos, Roon, G series (with LPS upgrade), 800 series (with LPS upgrade), HD621, AC200, Prime and PS, DSPs old and new.

I sometimes see artifacts for the initial minute or less then the image is excellent (wired, 50 Mbps connection)

Main system - Sources (Kodi-HTPC, Vero 4k, FireTV, Sat) into Trinnov Altitude 32 (8-16) (+Roon), Trinnov Amplitude 8 amp & Vivid Audio (Giya G3, V1.5) and REL Stentor III speakers. Others: F80 + Raspberry Pi and other Pi systems.

My internet is 74Mbps according to the router. Do you get audio dropouts at all?

Not that I ever recall. (I have the Fire set to DD+ which feeds my Marantz 8802). I'm not sure how much content actually is DD+

Stranger Things is the best TV series I have seen on TV in years, loved it.
Season 2 returns for Halloween, can't wait.

'The OA' is also right up there, really did enjoy that too.

'The Night Of' was also superb, and that is on US Netflix.
