Apologies to yourself Mlssoccerrules, and to everyone else who is bemused by all this!

Dr Who is a bit of a British TV Scifi institution. It started in the early 1960s, and had a change of lead actor (playing "the doctor") every few years. It became pretty rubbishy through the 1980s, and was eventually dropped in 1989. It's just been resurrected after 16 years (a bit like when Star Trek: The Next Generation came along) , and they have a really good credible actor as the doctor and a decent scriptwriter too. They also have budget for special effects now. The show was always known for it's dreadful (yet much loved) SFX in bygone years. Now you know!
