I sampled the Walkure Prelude to Act 1 from Thielemann's Ring in MQA - it sounded terrible. Volume levels were very low, sounds muted and hardly any dynamic range. Do let me know if you have similar observations ?

His Elektra though was stunning and the huge orchestra doesnt mix into a soup of sound under MQA.
